Faith Assembly Social Media & Video Editing Intern
Location: Faith Assembly of God, Millington, TN
Hours: 6-7 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Reports to: Lead Pastor
Position Overview:
Faith Assembly is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media & Video Editing Intern to help expand our digital presence. This role is perfect for someone passionate about media, video production, and church ministry. The intern will be responsible for editing sermon videos, creating engaging social media content, maintaining the church website, and capturing moments from church services.
To be considered for this role, the candidate must attend or be willing to start attending Faith Assembly and must live a Christian lifestyle, as they will be working for a church and handling ministry-related content. The candidate should be comfortable working both on-site at the church and remotely (if they have access to a capable computer for video/photo editing).
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing & Uploads
Edit long-form sermon and podcast videos
Upload sermon videos to YouTube
Create Shorts/Reels for social media
Add music and captions to Shorts/Reels
Schedule and publish content via SocialPilot or other social media scheduling tools
Website & Media Updates
Update Faith Millington's Squarespace website with the most recent sermon
Replace homepage video and archive older sermons
Photography & Graphic Design
Capture photos during church services and events
Edit and enhance photos for social media
Create engaging social media graphics for upcoming events and ministry updates
Design slides for upcoming events
Other Responsibilities:
Assist with additional media and marketing-related tasks as needed
Collaborate with church leadership to develop new ways to improve Faith Assembly’s digital outreach
Requirements:
✅ Prior experience preferred in social media work and/or video/photo editing (candidates without experience will still be considered)
✅ Experience with video and photo editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, Canva, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
✅ Experience with social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
✅ Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
✅ Passionate to work in a church environment and engage with ministry content
✅ Familiarity with Squarespace (preferred but not required)
